Why the installer determines the warranty
Most homeowners don't know this: the strongest roofing warranties aren't sold — they're earned by the contractor. Manufacturers reserve their best coverage for roofs installed by certified contractors using the complete manufacturer system, to their specifications. An uncertified installer using the same shingles cannot offer the same protection.

Atlas Signature Select® System Warranty
We install complete Atlas roofing systems — shingles, underlayment, starter, hip & ridge, and ventilation, engineered to work together. Qualifying installations are eligible for Atlas's strongest protection:
- Limited Lifetime warranty on qualifying Atlas shingles*
- 15-year Premium Protection Period on Pinnacle® shingles — non-prorated coverage that includes materials, labor, and even tear-off and disposal costs during that period
- Wind coverage up to 130 mph on qualifying Pinnacle® shingles — protection built for Florida
- Lifetime algae resistance with Scotchgard™ Protector — no ugly black streaks*
Most standard roofing warranties cover materials only and prorate from day one. The Signature Select system's Premium Protection Period covers the things that actually cost money when something goes wrong.
We register your Atlas warranty for you — and email you the confirmation certificate. Many roofers leave this step to the homeowner, where it's often missed.

Every A² Roofing installation carries our own written workmanship warranty:
- 5 years on shingle roofs
- 5 years on tile roofs
- 5 years on metal roofs
- 3 years on flat roofs
Different systems face different exposure — the coverage matches the work.
Ask any other roofer for their labor warranty — in writing.
What this means when you compare quotes
When another quote comes in lower, ask one question: "What warranty comes with it — in writing?"
- Is labor covered, or materials only?
- Are tear-off and disposal included if something fails?
- Is the contractor certified to offer the manufacturer's system warranty at all?
- Will the warranty be registered — and will you get the certificate?
A cheaper roof with a weaker warranty isn't cheaper. It's a bet.
Storm damage and your warranty
Manufacturer warranties cover manufacturing defects — they don't replace insurance for hurricane and storm damage. What protects you in a storm is the installation itself: qualifying Atlas Pinnacle® systems are rated for wind up to 130 mph when installed to specification, which is exactly how we install them.
